The Basics:
Eighth grade students need a way to ask their burning questions about high school. These are the type of questions they don't want to ask a high school administrator or guidance counselor at Future Freshmen Night.
Eighth and ninth graders in Reading operate on different schedules. Getting all of them in one place at one time is virtually impossible.
The students' reactions on the class blog:
This assignment involved answering 8th graders questions on a wiki page. I actually enjoyed doing this assignment because those were the questions I needed to be answered last year too.
I think that this is a great thing because we are helping future freshman by answering their concerns for about the high school. Also it allows the current freshmen to reflect on their high school experience so far.
